In this gripping and witty Hitchcockian thriller, Michel, a Parisian teacher, and his family are heading to their rundown vacation cottage when he meets Harry, who claims to be an old school chum, at a service station. The amiable, seemingly wealthy Harry and his voluptuous girlfriend Plum join them on their holiday and work their way into Michel’s life, but Harry takes things to diabolical lengths when he sets out to help his “friend” fulfill his potential as a writer.
